Photographer Andy Marquez says "I think that in 10 years, 80% of these signs will be gone. They are disappearing from Colorado's roadsides at 5/5(1). While, most have driven by the remains of this sign and most likely ignored it, the photographer has honored this sign with his work.

After this book was published, a group of local citizens decided to restore the Uranium Drive In sign and were successful in their efforts. There is a video up of the restored sign.5/5.
